Micromate™ at Spectrum Miami 2026

We recently participated in the Spectrum Miami Conference, where we had the opportunity to showcase Micromate™ and connect with leading professionals in interventional radiology and oncology.

A successful hands-on experience

On January 16th, our team led live demos of Micromate™ during the MSK Hands-on Course. Dr. Marco Van Strijen and our Clinical Specialist Cristina Quagliozzi guided attendees through the capabilities of our miniature robot using a Cone-Beam CT simulator, allowing participants to test and experience its practical applications in real-world interventional scenarios.

Learning from the best

The conference provided valuable learning opportunities. We were particularly grateful for the insightful presentations from Dr. Marco Van Strijen and Prof. Dimitris Filippiadis, who shared their expertise on lung and MSK interventions and discussed the impact Micromate™ is making in clinical settings.

Their real-world perspectives reinforced what we’ve been hearing from clinicians: Micromate™ is addressing genuine challenges in interventional procedures and opening new possibilities for patient care.

Thank you

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to talk and demo Micromate, and special thanks to Dr. Marco Van Strijen and Prof. Dimitris Filippiadis for their expertise and support.

ATEC Spine Launches Valence, a Robotic Navigation System for Spine Surgery

ATEC Spine has commercially launched Valence, a fully integrated robotic and navigation system for spine surgery.¹ For us at Interventional Systems, this is a milestone worth acknowledging: Valence is built on the miniature robotic technology we developed, which found its way into the spine market through Fusion Robotics and eventually into ATEC’s hands via their acquisition of Accelus in 2023.
