The iSYS 1 is a remotely controllable interventional device guidance system for image-guided interventions. The system consists of a robotic micro-positioning instrument aiming system and a unit for set-up on different imaging and treatment tables.

The "iSYS 1 Fluoro" supports percutaneous interventions from head to toe, including tumor ablation (RF, IRE, CRYo, brachy), soft tissue and bone biopsies, direct drug injection, endoleak treatment, shunt placement, marker & guide wire placement and more.

RAISONS D’ETRE OF THE iSYS 1: SAFE DIRECT TARGETING

Exposure to non-prescribed ionizing radiation is a major concern in today’s Radiology setting, both for clinicians and for patients. It’s reduction, while ensuring optimal interventional accuracy and precision, is a raison d’etre of iSYS 1.

With the iSYS 1, there is no need to have „HANDS IN THE BEAM“.

Workflow - Fluoro

In just 4 simple steps the procedure is completed !

STEP 1:
Patient stabilization with iFIX – sterile covering – gross positioning of robot in operating field.

STEP 2:
2D/3D Image acquisition – 2D/3D Path planning – Positioning of Gantry for the needle entry view.

STEP 3:
Micro-manipulation from safe distance - precision tool alignment under fluoro-guidance.

STEP 4:
Manual instrument positioning – verification any time before/during/after treatment.
